"Alcohol Isn’t the Point. Here’s Why I’m Still Talking About It"

I know, I talk a lot about alcohol…

🔬 Because I’m out here sharing the science I think everyone deserves to know.
🤸‍♂️ Because I’m coaching others to find a free and easy relationship with their drinking so they can level-up their life.
📽️ Because I’m busy creating courses, trainings, and giving presentations to spread this message.

But here’s the thing—while I spend a lot of time talking about alcohol, in my actual life, it now takes up very little space… and that’s one of the best feelings in the world.

Alcohol is No Longer a Burden

For years, alcohol seemed like a central part of my life. I was constantly asking myself, “Should I have a drink? Should I cut back?” That mental chatter ate up so much energy. But now, it’s quiet. Alcohol is no longer the thing I plan my social life around. It’s no longer the crutch I use to get through a stressful day.

In my mind, drinking has become a non-issue—and honestly, it feels incredible.

Alcohol Was Just a Doorway

Here’s something I didn’t expect: alcohol wasn’t the big, looming problem I thought it was. It turned out to be a doorway to something much bigger—a path to deeper self-care, mental clarity, and personal growth. By stepping away from alcohol, I gave myself the chance to focus on the things that actually matter. And in the process, I found myself.

Without alcohol clouding my mind, I was able to shift my life in a new direction. And while it took effort, that decision was the catalyst for a whole mountain of positive change.

No More Mental Exhaustion

I no longer spend my days going back and forth on “should I or shouldn’t I?” 🧠 I’m not scheduling my weekends around whether there will be a full bar 🍸 or pouring money into something that doesn’t serve me. 💸

Instead, I’m focused on what truly matters. I’m living a more balanced, beautiful life that I built with intention, and alcohol is no longer weighing me down.

Alcohol Wasn’t Helping—It Was Holding Me Back

I used to think that alcohol was the duct tape holding my life together. But in reality, it was more like a layer of vaseline on my glasses. 👓 It blurred my vision, kept me stuck, and prevented me from seeing my true potential. Once I removed it from the equation, everything became so much clearer. I could finally see the path forward, and wow, was it eye-opening.
