Isn’t it ironic?

“It's ironic how we have
apps
to make life simpler,
to help us meditate, and
to measure our health,

when we'd likely make
significant strides on
all three fronts if we
were to simply bury
our phones in the
yard for a few
hours a day.”

- Esther Perel

The irony of posting this online is not lost on me.

And I have several meditation and health-focused apps that I love. 📱💕

But, honestly, I’m having to work harder than usual to maintain a “media balance” in my own life at the moment (aka keeping my mental health in check)

And have set some serious limits both for social media and “screens,” in general.

How are *you* feeling out there lately??

I’m starting each day with a walk in the fresh air to get some natural light in my eyes (a circadian rhythm hack) 🌤️

Just listening to the sounds of my neighborhood (for at least 20 minutes before I start a podcast ☺️)(a nervous system boost)

…I’ve got so much more knowledge and tools for keeping myself in balance than I used to… and the difference is really staggering.

(Like, “staggering” in a beautiful, calm way.) 😉
