You deserve the compassion you give others.

We can be so hard on ourselves! 😝

In moments where our inner critic seems especially loud, it can help to pause… take a breath… and ask what we might say to a friend or a child in the same position.

Would you say something like “You should have known better!” or “Gawd! You always screw this up.” … . . probably not. 😏

We are much more gentle and forgiving when speaking to others, and we deserve that *same* compassion when speaking to ourselves.

And it takes practice.
